If I am interested in obtaining sponsorship funding, must I use the online application?

Yes. Most well-prepared applicants complete the online application in 20 minutes or less. The important information you provide will help us assess your request fairly and in a timely fashion.

How many times may I apply for a sponsorship?

You may apply as many times as you would like throughout the year, but only one sponsorship will be awarded to an organization per calendar year.

How will I know that my sponsorship request has been received?

At the end of the application process, you will be given the option to create an account or log into an existing account. After you create an account, you will receive an e-mail confirmation for your new community sponsorship application. Due to the large number of requests received, we are unable to provide a telephone confirmation for individual requests.

What is the deadline to submit a sponsorship proposal?

Sponsorship proposals will be reviewed on a monthly basis. We recommend you submit your application at least three months prior to the date you need funding for an event or program.

Who will review my community sponsorship application and make the final funding decision?

All proposals are reviewed at the local level for recommendations with final approval by each individual state or market review committee.

When are funding decisions made?

Funding decisions are made once a month. Organizations will be notified of their application status and receive their checks approximately four-to-six weeks of the review date.

Does TD Bank have an anti-discrimination policy?

Building an inclusive organization is a key element of TD Bank's giving strategy. We are working to create and sustain a diverse and inclusive workplace that reflects the communities we serve. Our commitment to diversity includes how we contribute to our communities. Projects, programs and activities funded by TD Bank must be consistent with this commitment.

TD Bank prohibits discrimination based on race, national or ethnic origin, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, family status, veteran status, disability or other characteristic protected by law. Please indicate below whether the projects, programs and activities for which you seek funding comply with the Foundation's anti-discrimination policy:

Organizations which do not affirm their projects compliance with TD Bank's anti-discrimination policy are not eligible for funding from TD Bank.

May I advocate my proposal in person?

Unfortunately, due to the high volume of requests, individual meetings with applicants are not possible.

What is the difference between an event and a program?

Events are one-time activities that potentially benefit a non-profit organization. These may include, but are not limited to, initiatives like walk-a-thons, relays for life and food drives. Programs are more likely to be ongoing activities and may be educational in nature or provide entertainment, for example, summer concert series, lecture series or training workshops.

When I try to open the application, I receive an error message stating, "My browser is not configured to accept cookies." Why?

If you receive this error message, please contact a member of your organization's technology staff. You may need to adjust your computer's settings in order to access the application.

Can I copy and paste information from a Word document into one of the community sponsorship application's text boxes?

Yes. You can copy information from an existing Word document and paste it into the appropriate text box in the application.

I do not have all of the required documents in an electronic format. How can I submit them?

Please contact us at CommunitySponsorships@YesBank.com. We will reply with instructions on how to forward these documents to us. Community sponsorship requests will not be considered via this e-mail link. Thank you for your cooperation.

Should I print a copy of the community sponsorship application?

Yes. A link is provided at the top of the application. We recommend that you print and keep a copy of the application for your own records. However, we ask that you do not send it to us as this may lead to duplicate records.
